I'm now officially lemming for Sony Ericsson's W595 in Lava Black.Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Orange and black belong together, they are FOR each other. Orange and black together in one object is absolutely HAWT. I mean just look at it! Okay, well not really it, I mean pictures of it!

I finally did something to get me a step closer to this lil' hottie. M1's offering this lil' baby at SGD$138, now, the catch here is: they're offering this deal as an online exclusive. T_T i.e. it'll be more expensive if I buy it off a real M1 shop. I've been meaning to get a debit card since forever and I finally DID it, printed and mailed. Hope to get me debit card REAL soon so I can go on to get me hands on that lil' baby.Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Have you guys voted for Earth earlier? :D

Feels good knowing we've done something rather than nothing. Now I really hope to carry on with this little step, and bring it into everyday life. Hmm... we've been sleeping with fan on instead of the air-con, gonna keep this up with the exception of unbearably hot nights i.e. July.

Haha we took a picture of our neighborhood during Earth Hour, and the results were quite ehmmm... dismal. :(
BUT! Don't ever let the herd mentality interfere with your decision-making, especially when it's for a good cause. Everything starts with you, you, YOU! *jabs monitor*

I know Earth Hour hasn't turned me into a tree hugger nor an activist, but I know I wanna give it my best shot. Do you?

It's not too late...yet. Start today! Weeee~ Go planet!

An I N C A N D E S C E N T night C:

Met up with Xinyi, her "up-DATE" (*wink wink*) and Shimmy yesterday for Ah Shing's TH dance production, INCANDESCENCE '09. Met at Clementi, went to get bubble tea (in retrospect, we should have bought bubble tea for Ah Shing! *points to Ah Shing's blog*) then asked around for a florist. Got a super duper CUTE bouquet, it had a nice, big, cheery sunflower with an awfully adorable stuffed bear, yeah you can tell just by the description alone that our bouquet PWNS all other bouquets last night.

My favorite dance items are: Sublime, Uncut, Anaesthesia, Rockstar Supernova and Confused. Yeah, notice most of the items I picked up have heavy hip hop influence? Haha I think I like upbeat, high tempo stuff better. Incandescent opened with "Songs behind bars", I was half expecting them to groove to "Locked up" by Akon, locked up they won't let me out~ they won't let me out~ oh~ oh~ Haha but still, I loved the dance they did to MJ's "Smooth Criminal", crotch grabbing move? Classic! And there this guy up there who had MJ's locks and hat, wowza! Far, far away was like ballet fused with modern dance? Was totally hilarious when the girl (yeah, the one packing the luggage) slumped to the floor with a heavy thud (intended, of course lol), and the audience went like "Ouch". LOL. Not an easy dance style, it was nice but hmm... just not my preference I guess. I thought Anaesthesia was a really cool and innovative idea, and it brought out the woozy feeling of being under the influence of anaesthesia very well! The rythmic fast and slow-mo moves, really mirrors the drifting in and out of consciousness super well!

And then came the rockstars! Rockstar Supernova ftw, not for the fact that Ah Shing's the one who choreographed it ok? XD But I really like it, really has that oomph to every beat! And there are many little details that I really like, like there's this move the one toe pointed to the ground knees bent at an angle then slide down with one hand up in the air, and a little wave, I like that variation! I wanna be a rockstar! \m/

Haha and yes I think it's a plus point to have long hair for dance, gives it a whole dimension to movement leh! The flick is hot! And I see shadows of Rihanna here and there throughout the dance, like there's this one move that I saw in a few items, think I saw it in Rihanna's "Umbrella" music video, check it out below, I think it appears around 1:01-1:02, this move really works for long, flowy hair. Hawt!

And the emcees were hilarious, Amos being the smart and no-nonsense role and Douglas playing the Dumb role. LOL. There were even gu-niangs guys in candy colored stockings! I mean, can it get any better!?! Haha and there was this cute dance which featured the song “拔萝卜“, (ahh our childhood memories) the carrot was awesome! I liked this year's a lot better, the styles were very distinct.

Had lots of fun crapping and camwhoring (forced by the self-confessed camwhore expert, Shimmy aka helmet head). Hahaha and thanks helmet head and Xinyi for giving me a new nickname. T_T" Lol. Waiting for peeksies. :D Eh Ah Shing, if you're reading this, next time you guys can sell T-shirts there, so us audience can have some sorta keepsake leh! XD

Fulham 2 -0 Man(U)re

Looney the Mr Attitude and Crappy Ronaldo the Whiny Brat. I wasn't watching the match until we got news from a forum that Fulham was leading 1-0. Saw the highlights during half-time for parts that I missed, and Mr Carrot Top Scholes very cute, tried to play goalkeeper when he stopped a ball right in front of the goal line with (check this out) not one but BOTH hands. @_@" What was he thinking huh? Confirmed gurantee plus chop kena sent off. Man(U)re down to ten men. Penalty awarded to Fulham, and which better player to take it than our old boy Danny Murphy! Mai siao siao, whenever Liverpool had penalty shootouts he'll confirmed be in the line-up one lor! And our old boy launched it right into the net. Woohoooo~ =x Ok, cannot go over the top, karma.

Then Looney's turn. Childish behavior. 81" already kena booked for foul on Dacourt, then minutes later, he threw the ball down the field. (O A O)" Ref raised a yellow, and then a red. Oops another one of Fergie's dearies sent down the locker room. Tsk tsk, at least show some sportsmanship, Looney went on to punch a corner flag, bet that tickled the Fulham fans in the stands. Then Gera aka the bicycle kick king launched a second one into Man(U)re's net. Freaking awesome skill, 10/10! Gera didn't score from a direct bicycle kick, he actually set himself up for a bicycle kick by first launching it into the air himself. Wowza!!! What makes that goal sweeter was the difficult position from which Gera scored, with VDS and another defender closing in on him.

And Berbatov sucks la. Can't stand this kinda player, he's those kinda players who zao without batting an eyelid when shit happens to the club, and only plays for himself. Tsk tsk, take a page from our very own Stevie Wonder please! Here's Stevie's quote from today's article in The Newpaper.

"I think the easy thing would be maybe to move on but it's not for me. What would be more important for me would be to win it and share it with the club and with my family who are all Liverpool fans. That would mean more to me than winning it five or six times somewhere else."

I've lost count of the number of times I HATE Crappy Ronaldo, I don't think I've ever hated on a football player this much, not even Materazzi who angered Zidane into headbutting him lor! Reminds me of a whiny little, narcissistic spoilt brat who thinks EPL revolves around him, him and him alone. He'll take every opportunity to fall down to the ground and begging the ref for a foul, ^@&*@#&*#@ suck it up Crappy Ron, this is football, not ballet. Uurgh. Pele, please save Crappy Ron by giving him a lesson on humility please. And Fergie, please stop chewing gum now and reign in your problematic dearies or the situation might just go out of hand, really.

Despite their loss to Fulham, I guess Fergie can still afford to lose this one with one game in hand. But I know our Liverpool lads won't just go down without a good, hard fight. So, may the best team win. And... please, just leave out the theatrics.

Liverpool's 4-1 trouncing on Man(U)re @Old Traffart

HOW CAN I NOT BLOG ABOUT THIS!?! Before I begin (ooh, I can feel the Manure fans cringing haha!), here are the highlights, click:

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=54052754

This is by far the greatest win I've seen so far (in my 21+ years and counting) against Man(U)re! And the icing on the cake? It all happened in the Old Traffart! Oh boy oh boy, I know this is a little mean but I really enjoyed seeing Fergie's and VDS's sian 1/2 look! XD Yeah yeah I know this MASSIVE win won't shake up Man(U)re's hold at the top of the table BUT I like to think that our title dreams are still very much alive and kickin', and damn is it MONUMENTAL or what!?! I bet fans from both camps are not gonna be able to forget this match for a really long time. :D I know I sure won't. Was a lil' worried when Lucas appeared in the starting line-up in place of Alonso, granted our midfield didn't look as solid but yeap no major boohoo :D And Hyypia was a force to be reckoned with aerially, one of the key men in our Liverpool defense.

We totally exhibited sheer C L A S S in this one, and we gotta thank the countless mistakes that Man(U)re made, thanks ah Vidic! Welcome to Anfield any day to lim kopi at the Kop! :D It is an undeniable fact that Liverpool capitalised on Man(U)re's mistakes, but that is too flimsy a reason for a 1-4 scoreline, major props to the Liverpool players for their wit, grace, skill, class and courage despite being 1 down at the beginning of the game.

(C)rappy Ronaldo got the first and only (haha =x) goal for Man(U)re after a mindless tackle by Reina on Park. I really don't think Reina needed to run out for that drastic tackle especially when Carra signalled to him to stay put and that he'll take it, though Reina did pull back his hands when he made contact with Park. (C)rappy Ronaldo stepped up and took the spot kick, Reina pulled towards the right way but (C)rappy's penalty made it into the net. Lol I was cursing and swearing until...

Torres cancelled that out just 5 minutes after (C)rappy's penalty. Lol. A long ball in unlocked Torres and he started on a blazing run, outclassed Vidic (I think even Man(U)re fans will agree that it was a stupid mistake by Vidic, he is so gonna get the hairdryer treatment, poor guy) with I N C R E D I B L E ball control and wit and topped it all off with a cool and awesome finishing. (*cue the Torres song!)

Man(U)re continued to exert pressure in the Liverpool half, the scariest for me was from (C)rappy's free kick which went right into Reina but it kinda bounced a little off impact and landed right in front of Tevez! Haha but thank god Reina grabbed it back. Major phew! With minutes left before half time, Michael Carrick tried to pull a long one in but it's just a tad wide.

At the 42", Alan Wiley awarded a penalty kick to Liverpool (yay! Our turn!) after Evra caught Stevie's foot (what an obvious foul, Evra totally went for his foot instead of the ball). Stevie responded with an impactful spot kick into the lower right corner of the net. Hahaha the Man(U)re fans standing behind the net very funny, some of them were waving in a futile attempt to distract our Stevie Wonder. Not working~ :DDD Bet Liverpool fans (boys and girls alike) all over the world went berserk when our captain planted a kiss on the camera. The kiss's meant for me though. Hahahaha! XD By this time, Looney & Co were looking reaaaally pissed and Fergie's chewing gum at a record-breaking speed. Poor fellas, can't imagine what's to come in the locker room for them.

At the 56" Reina made a super duper save, the ball was only an inch away from the goal line and I thought Tevez confirm gonna nick it in when Reina literally pulled the ball back from hell's mouth with his pair of magic hands! Walao! I wanna kiss his botak head then and there!!! 7 minutes later there was a scare in our half involving Tevez yet AGAIN, but that poor Argentinian lost his footing, somehow. I still think Tevez is hot lor! Nobody finds him good-looking!?! O_O?? Note to self: Cannot think too much, he's still the enemy.>:( Really pity him, he had a night of misfiring man, totally lost count of the number of misses he made. Oh yeah, and why is his hair curly now huh? I thought they used to be stick straight?

75" Vidic sponsored us another goal again after pulling Stevie down. After watching the replay, hahaha hum jim peng is spot on, that Vidic really had the audacity to grab Stevie's platinum balls!!! Poor Vidic got sent off. Free kick to Liverpool! Aurelio pounded in Liverpool's 3rd goal with a S U P E R B C U R L E R! OMFG awesome goal! Orh-leh-leo orh-leh-leo number 1! Hahaha! By now, I think VDS is totally murderous already. The sky was pretty overcast over at Man(U)re's half.

At the 90", Reina zammed a long ball into Man(U)re's half and the Dossenator lobbed a sweet ball over VDS, bounced once and right into the net. VDS STUNNED x100! Hahaha just look at the way VDS stayed put and watched the ball flew over him and right into the net! Poor guy got petrified XD These kinda goals are those you see in Youtube videos titled "compilation of best goals in football" or something along the lines of it. Wah liew! Dossenator scored the last and 4th goal against Real, and did an encore against Man(U)re! Hahaha Dossenator the striker!?! Not that I mind. :D This kinda goal damn old-school lor, not very common nowadays, think the previous one I saw was from Zidane?

Sang along to the tune of You'll Never Walk Alone with the Liverpool fans in Old Traffart. Hahaha it totally didn't feel like a Liverpool away game from start to finish at all man. Heh so Liverpool fans head out and paint the town red, we might not have made a difference in our title challenge after this win but such a massive win right in Man(U)re's backyard, just enjoy the moment! Rain or shine, come what may, You'll Never Walk Alone...

Here's the clip of my husband and Stevie Wonder post-match. :D Torres never looked hotter!!!

Post Match

Friday, March 13, 2009 , 12:45 AM

Oh, happy day!

Liverpool outshone Real Madrid in a 4-0 demolition in the UCL match-up round of 16. While I'm totally delirious by that hefty scoreline (I know, I know, nothing compared to that Bayern v Sporting Lisbon scoreline 12-1 aggregate), but I kinda empathised with Real. Hello!?! We're talking about Real Madrid here, one of the footballing giants in La Liga. I felt especially sad seeing Raul struggling to get a goal. I missed the old Raul, just like I missed the old Owen. Strikers, especially when they're known for speed, have a pretty limited shelf-life. And judging from this match, I guess Raul's approaching what I'd call the "sunset" period in a striker's life, heart-wrenching... especially when it involves your favorite strikers.

Ok ok emo stuff aside, I'm still crazy over our performance! Let's hope we'll carry this momentum over to the upcoming showdown with Man(U)re this Saturday.

I know a lot of Real fans are pissed off by the controversial decision made by the ref, involving a supposed handball when it really only touched Heinze's shoulder. I agree it's NOT a handball, but as I've always said, modern football's marred by bad refereeing, and Real's not the only victims, Liverpool has suffered from some really bad decisions too, some of which I'd rather forget. Even without that decision going our way, Liverpool pretty much dominated the entire game, hence my point is we'd still win the match with or without it.  Just look at our line-up which pretty much has "ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!" written all over it. How long has it been since we've seen a Liverpool that goes all out on the offensive? Totally liberating to watch man!

The most pek cek thing's gotta be when Heinze kept arrowing and tackling Torres mindlessly after that controversy, he's totally venting his anger on Torres for that ref's mistake lor! Walao! I was waiting for Heinze to get a second yellow and get sent off, but that didn't happen, guess that's the ref's way for making amendments. But yeah, Heinze's definitely on my blacklist! >:(

The most hilarious part was even Dossena joined in the scoring bandwagon, hahaha even Dossena made it past Casillas lor! Dossena came in for Torres, then shortly after he picked up a yellow card, and shortly after that, he went on to get the final goal of the night. Hahaha one helluva busy man leh Dossena. Oh yeah, I still can't get used to Lucas' new hairdo, he's not him without the long, unruly hair plus Spanish headband do la!

And and Jay Spearing made his debut for Liverpool! Read up on his profile, and this newbie despite his small stature, packs quite some liao one leh! Will be looking out for him in future matches! Hmm but what are the chances of that happening in the near future? Rafa's not Wenger. If he doesn't rotate that much can tou xiao already. Lol.

Really disappointed with Real Madrid, attack's minimal, defense non-existent. Zzz. Their Pepe could've done better, I remembered his uncanny intercepting and blocking ability in the previous World Cup lor! Didn't see any of that this time. :( A bit sad. Then I was reading some forum and one person commented it would've been a massacre if it was Dudek and Casilas who made the starting line-up. Lolol. Dudek was a Liverpool keeper so I won't say too much about our old boy, he makes some stupid mistakes but he was our hero back in Istanbul '05 UCL final!!!

My favorite goals are: The first goal by Torres! Shows great communication between Torres and Stevie G!!! Aargh best partnership! And topping it all off, the finishing's the icing on the cake. And and Gerrard's second goal! Sourcing from a superb cross by Babel, Stevie G fired a blazing volley into the roof of the net. I love love LOVE this kinda goal!!! If not for Casillas, I think the scoreline would've been crazier.

Standing ovation to Liverpool!!! You'll Never Walk Alone~ C:

My two favorite men of the night...

Another happy thing's... Smelly's heading for Perth 22nd May to 27th May, surprise visit for my cousin. Lol.

Ok ok before Smelly's off to bed, I'm gonna SIC something really good with you guys! Here's a blogshop which sells football posters! But I only see Liverpool and Man(U)re posters though. Haha, here goes: http://flyingwith-football.blogspot.com/

The dimension should be 60x90 instead of the 600x900cm listed, otherwise one wall wouldn't be enough to contain the poster already.

Smelly finally went to the S i n g a p o r e  Z o o (or rather Joo, hahaha inside joke) today. Despite reading the weather forecast for "showers with thunder" across most parts of Singapore, we took a risk and went ahead with our plans. And it paid off! Tsk tsk better job next time, weatherman! :D So much to see, and we actually covered the entire Zoo compound solely on foot. But it was more than worth it! Visited lotsa C U T E animals along the way, snap here snap there, everywhere snap snap. Lol. We ended up with 300+ pictures in our digicam and handphones put together. My top 3 favorite animals are: 1) Polar Bear a.k.a Inuka! 2) Ground squirrel (chubby wubby lil' critters! aargh!! I wanna squeeze them cause' they're so painfully adorable! 3) Proboscis Monkey (made me laugh so hard! Must be the nose... hahaha =x).

I'll give a little preview on what's to come (can't post all of em' just yet, am too tired right now @_@):

Mum says she doesn't wanna take a picture, in the end... U_U" Haha! Funny lor she!

Weather was so hot even Ah Meng had to cool off by guzzling down some Coca Cola

Neh! Evidence! Don't say I bluff chewren kay!

Hahaha! My mum's expression! Always not camera ready! T_T She really looks like Zhu Mimi!
( O    A    O)"
Here's Inuka! He's so ADORABLE and everyone had so much fun watching him play with that pipe thingy. He can find 101 ways to play with it, that pipe toy's so precious to Inuka, he'd actually dive down to retrieve it when he lost hold of it and the pipe toy sank to the bottom of the tank. And the cutie pie has the fluffiest and cutest paws! Aargh!!! The cuteness's killing me dammit!

Inuka and his pipe toy <3

My lucky shot of Inuka full frontal, I wanna hug that BEAR! D:

New Keyboard! Liverpool is coming to town~

Hurrah! Smelly has gotten herself a
new USB keyboard. Time to say goodbye to my soft "jelly" keyboard. No more looking like a total idiot operating 2 keyboards (laptop keyboard and the other, the g a r i s h, purple soft keyboard that is structurally unstable no thanks to its material). So now I'm typing at maximum speed (as fast as I can muster, at least XD) with my brand new keyboard resting on top of my laptop. You won't know how A W E S O M E it feels for me now unless you've gone through what I've experienced for the past 10+ months!

Haha it's almost like that scene in "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber on Fleet Street" where Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp) reunites with his scissors and he holds it up against the light and exclaims "At last! My arm is complete again!"

Yep, this scene. Lol.

I'm sure many of you guys have already learnt of the stabbing incident in NTU that took place on the very first day right after our recess week, whatever it is I hope David rests in peace, and also that the family and friends he lfet behind will be able to get through this difficult period. And yes, here's wishing a speedy recovery to that Prof.

And and! Speculation has been rife that Liverpool FC might be travelling around Asia for exhibition matches! And YES! They might be coming to Singapore! AHHHHHHHHHH! Guess what!?! The speculation has been verified and confirmed to be true. However, no date has been fixed yet though the FAS are currently in talks with Liverpool. Woohooo! Aiya! I just realised I won't be able to enjoy student price anymore! =( Shite! But oh well, whatever the price, it's well worth every moolah. Really hope to see the full 1st team squad!!! My fanatasy'd be ALL of Liverpool FC will be here.
C A N N O T WAIT!
