YOU ARE SPECIAL!
Just what is a Singaporean?
How can a Singaporean be defined?
We proudly present the traits.

WE HAVE GREAT FORESIGHT
The authority says, "Plan early for retirement." We always plan ahead...

WE ARE LAW-ABIDING
Well, most of us are, anyway. Those wayward few face a certain punishmentwhich is also unique to us...
WE LOVE FOOD
Brought about by the vast variety of grub in our multi-cultural melting pot.

WE FEEL FOR OTHER SINGAPOREANS

We may not know each other; but when disaster strikes our fellow men, we share their anguish.

WE HAVE TO BE NUMBER 1

It's almost a prerequisite for us to be tops in everything.

WE ARE BIG-HEARTED

We don't think twice when donating fat cheques to disaster victims abroad. But it's a different story with Flag Days at home.

Bloody headache. Slow progress. Haiz...now I totally and wholeheartedley believe it when they say " a healthy body, healthy mind".

Havin a really bad headache today. Hmmm. How should i describe it? It feels as if some bloke knocked me out at the back of me head. Yar..that's pretty much what it feels like. It's weird, whenever I'm nearing a major exam, my system starts failing me, I lose that adrenalin rush and my focus. Don't get me wrong. I'm studying, it's just that...i read a lil here and a lil there..so my stuff's pretty much scattered. Heck. 20 days! As my NP sir once said to my squad...I'd better " wake up my ideas".

Hmmm..if all goes well, I guess I'll be headin to da bugis temple for some divine intervention. Hopefully it'll give me some spiritual and mental assurance...at least I'll be able to feel a lil more settled. Or so I hope.

Me mum's had a nigglin stomachache and she's runnin a fever now. She went to see a doc today and he asked her if she wants ta go fer an endoscopic ultrasound scan. But she doesn't want it. Haiz...w/o her chirpy and cheery self, it's a lil quiet. But she's tryin to get her spirits up now. GET WELL SOON mum!

Hahaz...i got to know that they actually posted our results on litespeed through
Peiru's blog. Woah! Amazing. Hahaz...hate the fact that my results are actually
posted on it, I mean as the saying goes ' never wash your dirty linen in public' right?
Great. Now my results have gone public. But hey look on the brighter side, we
actually get to kaypo other people's results! lol.
Thank God my mum ain't really able with the comp and she doesn't know that NYJC
has its own webby. Phew~
hahaz...I actually went for classes today after pon-in Monday and Tuesday. 2 full
days of bi men xiu xing ( seeking a higher level of educational attainment behind
closed doors)...lol. I think I did better than usual for my 'teahouse', that's taken in
comparison with my past results which doesn't jump outta the 2 mark region.
'Great' news! My mum brought a total of 3 TVB HK drama serials yesterday. The
devil in me was prob having one hell of a party ta celebrate this news, but my
conscience was prob lecturing me of the dire effects of watching MORE tv. Shucks.
Inner turmoil. To watch or not to watch, that is the question. lol.
Reflecting on what i did today. Woah! I actually went through 2 mock exams!
Chinese and GP!!! Can you imagine? I'm probably more productive going for lessons
than pon-ing. Oh well.
Realised I've got many stuff ta be photostated. Hmmm..and i really doubt the fact
that I've repaid all my bad debts. Hmmm...wait till my memory kicks back into
action, then I promise I'll return it immediately. I hope.
Yeahs~ I saw Shiyen in the Yishun interchange today. Her specs are so darn cool.
Had a lil chat b4 her bus arrived and guess what, we're both TV
enthusiasts! Hahaz...hope to see more of her in school. But with the As lurking...i
doubt it's possible. Aniwaes, it was really great seeing her after all these 'years' lol.
Stupid, menopausal Law@#$# still wun return her econs papers. Shit him. LOL.
Well, that wraps up all the happenings today. Not such an exciting life Singaporean
students have huh? Totally.

My mum got da PUB bill yesterday and guess what? With the arrival of our computer and 'never-before-seen' internet connection, our bill actually shot up by about $10/++. Can you imagine? God. I guess I'll have to :

  1. Use the Internet less often
  2. Type faster when I blog( not very possible)
  3. Set an alarm clock
  4. Avoid using fan, air-conditioner, radio, TV set when I'm using the computer

Shucks.

So, computer- bane or boon? You decide.

P/S: Red Candy ( a jap horror flick) is totally awesome!!! i give it **** stars! touching, farny and scary all rolled into 1, how good does it get?

REDS DOWN BUT NOT OUT Lee Brown 02 October 2005

Liverpool's unbeaten start to the season has come to an end after goals from Frank Lampard, Damien Duff, Joe Cole and Geremi gave Chelsea a flattering 4-1 win at Anfield in the Premiership today.
The Reds have proved a point in consecutive meetings with Jose Mourinho's men, but they haven't won any points today despite producing another good performance. The first half of this match had everything. It was Chelsea who would go in at the break in front, but Liverpool, as on Wednesday night, did enough to suggest that any gap between themselves and the Premiership Champions was slight. In fact they did something in the opening 45 minutes today that they had failed to do in the last match and that was to breach Chelsea's resistance when
Steven Gerrard scored in the 37th minute. That Gerrard's goal was cancelled out by two from Chelsea was probably a little unfair on the Reds, but they paid the price for allowing Chelsea's ruthless attack too close when first Lampard and then Duff struck. Liverpool had enjoyed the better of this game before Traore's mis-timed tackle on Drogba in the 26th minute gave Frank Lampard the opportunity to give his side the lead from the penalty spot. But Liverpool would not be moved from their belief and they were deservedly level just 9 minutes later when Riise's cross found its way to Gerrard and he finished superbly. There'll be no dispute over that goal. It was a goal that Liverpool didn't just deserve, but it also seemed to galvanise their belief and they began to press Chelsea back again. When Damien Duff restored Chelsea's lead in the 43rd minute, the Reds would rightly feel a little unlucky, but they had done enough already to suggest the game was far from over. It might have been over almost as soon as the second half kicked off though had Drogba been more composed when Hyypia's headed clearance left him clear. After that the game continued its usual theme, Liverpool pushing and Chelsea resisting. Steven Gerrard more than most empitomised their spirit and it was from his 60th minute corner that the Reds were almost level. Crouch only denied by the outstretched hand of Cech to deflect the ball away from his head. But Liverpool's task would become almost impossible when in the 63rd minute Joe Cole scored Chelsea's 3rd after Reina's save from Drogba rolled into his path. No other team has scored two, let alone three goals against Chelsea this season but Liverpool were not about to lie down and Riise and Crouch both fired shots in an attempt to force a way back. It wasn't to be though and we had to endure a Chelsea 4th when Geremi took advantage of our lack of defenders to sweep the ball into the net. We now had a scoreline that was no reflection on the match, but more a product of Liverpool having to chase the game and substitute defenders for attackers. Liverpool may have lost today, but they have no reason to be too down. Even Chelsea themselves should endorse that.

CHELSEA SUCKS BIG TIME!!!
