Happy 21st Birthday Ah Zhao!

(and the night Smelly cramped Dx)

Today's a very special day (though it was one day belated, but it is still very special for all of us) for one of our privileged members of Vultures Inc., and she's none other than Ah Zhao! Haha so all of us met up at ECP earlier to set up the area, cus' we planned a surprise for the special lady (not a girl not yet a woman, so lady). We told Ah Zhao that we will meet at ECP's Mac at 8.00pm. I met up with Ah Shing at Toa Payoh at 4.45pm initially, umm but we were a little late haha. Oh oh when I took a bus out to Yishun interchange right there was this guy sitting in front of me and he looked kinda Ah Beng, then there was this insect on his side of the window, and he actually jerked backwards!!! Hahaha omg I was cracking up silently inside, haha oh well I can get stereotypical at times. Lol. Okay back to topic, then we took a bus to Parkway Parade and surprisingly, it didn't take too long to reach there. :D

Walked around the basement and thankfully, we found not one... but MANY cake shops! Haha so yeah we went up to Giant and met up with Xinyi, then we got stuff on our shopping list, Amazing Race style. Hahaha it was damn funny, cus' we were like "Okay okay settled, faster faster go find the next item!!! Go go go!". And so we weaved around the supermarket, pretty much like maniacs on the loose. Haha we decided to gop chili sauce from Mac's instead of buying an entire bottle. So we got party poppers (Ah Shing later pronounced it as "party poopers" LOL! Yeah I have very creative friends ;D), paper cutlery and plates, Colon biscuits. We wanted to make yucky colon biscuits for Ah Zhao but later ended up eating them, cus' there wasn't much time to play games. After Giant, we teleported down to Polar and got the cake (omg! The nutella cake is to die for!).

Teleported next to Mac's to get chili sauce while Ah Shing and Xinyi went to OCK to takeaway some finger food. LOL. And I went to the counter and asked them for chili sauce and the guy directed me to the sauces area, and I stupidly took a little tray and filled it with chili sauce and crossed the road, while trying to shield it with my very bimbotic wallet (which is even more eye-catching U_U"). LOL their expressions when they saw me carrying that little tray of chili sauce was super hilarious!!! Haha yeah and of course we disposed it and went to LJS to gop some sauce. After finally getting everything needed, we walked to the underpass, during which we umm met with some (mis)adventure. Lol I can't imagine we can so much 'fun' crossing water puddles. Haha! Finally made it to ECP!

We began trekking and hunting for empty benches with 2 trees around it (so as to suspend the birthday banner for Ah Zhao). And there were lotsa GINORMOUS water puddles which we concluded were toad infested. Hahaha! FINALLY we found the perfect spot!!! Haha began to write up Ah Zhao's birthday scrapbook, the book's really, really pretty AND meaningful! Zlink and her bf came soon after, haha credits to Zlink's bf's mum for the beehoon, the beehoon's yummylicious, lol and silly us thought there was abalone in it. Lol! And Zlink and her bf contributed the light sticks, heart-shaped balloons too! Thanks!

Got info that our target Ah Zhao has reached ECP Mac's, so agent Xinyi and Agent umm Me went over to meet up with her. We had to pretend that Ah Shin and Zlink were late, and that we were going to a hawker centre for dinner. LOL. We had to stall for time cus' Ah Shing and Zlink were decorating the area, hanging up the banner, balloons and putting light sticks around the area. They buzzed us when they were done, and we told Ah Zhao we had to walk a loooong way to the hawker centre, crapped that it was waaay at the jetty. Hahaha then Xinyi is super cute! We stopped suddenly, and Xinyi told Ah Zhao we were told by Zlink to blindfold her, and luckily she relented! Haha so yeah there we have Ah Zhao blindfolded, and escorted by 2 of us by her side. LOL! Then we reached the area, I pretended to like look for something in my bag so that Ah Shing and Zlink can take pictures, then ran off to grab party poppers and POPPED it when her blindfold was off. Hahaha! Springing surprises is super fun!!! OMG and there were people standing around our area watching us. Haha!

Cake cutting time! Took pictures for the cake cutting ceremony and we dived into the cake immediately after. Haha what to do, Vultures will always be Vultures. LOL. And we crapped a lot there, and shared some ummm... in my opinion, REALLY funny gossip. Hahaha hush hush! We were really nonsensical man, there were some people letting off Kong Ming lanterns into the sky, on the other end of ECP. Then Xinyi said there was a UFO, then some of us guessed it was a shooting star, but we concluded that it was a not-so advanced UFO cus' it moved oh-so slowly. Haha then there was a patrol car, and I was telling them "Don't limp!" or else it'll sound the Mas Selamat alert, hahaha they were super funny la! Omg. It was really fun, and it felt so cosy and stuff to sit around the bench, just crapping and umm doing LIGHT GOSSIP while basking in the glow of the light sticks. And the moon was wonderful tonight, really really beautiful. Haha and oh oh I didn't realise there were so many ships in ECP!!! I know there are a lot of ships, but I never really noticed there were THAT many ships! The orange lights were so bright, and they were like twinkling in the horizon, like those lights in oil refineries. Haha.

Presented Ah Zhao her pressie and that special, special scrapbook. Ah Zhao will definitely love the pressie we got for her!!! Then we packed up and cleared our rubbish, cus' we had to rush for the last bus back. Then Ah Shing and I decided to cab back instead while Ah Zhao and Xinyi took a bus back. So 3 of us walked with Zlink's bf and his friend to somewhere in Marine Parade to cab. Hahaha and 3 of us tried to sing Crank Dat Soulja Boy and Low, but we made it ermm... to say the least, monotonous. Lol! And that was when it happened!

We were standing at the pavement while they helped us flag down a cab when I had a cramp in my left calf. Dx I hurt so bad! My calf cramped a lil' when we went to Mac's toilet earlier but it recovered as soon as it came. Then it cramped again, and they flagged down a cab already!!! Omg! I didn't want them to know I cramped initially, cus' it was soooo embarrassing! I didn't expect the cab to come so soon!! Lol and I cramped in an awkward positon! Lol you know like the warm-up you do during PE, one left infront, the other leg bent. OMG I swear it hurts so bad I couldn't like even twitch or it'll hurt big time. I really cringed in pain and kept flaying my hands at them to tell them to wave the taxi away. Lol and they were making me laugh la!!! Haha can't believe they can actually laugh at my sorry plight T_T. Lol so Zlink and her bf were telling me to lift up my heel to stretch, I tried and it hurts soooo bad. Hahaha. But finally managed to force myself to limp towards the next cab. Grrr so much for Mas Selamat limping jokes. T_T. Karma. Lol.

So yeap, reached home and here I am blogging about this amazing day! Haha I know we made it special for Ah Zhao! I was so glad the rain earlier didn't ruin our plans! Once again, HAPPY 21st BIIRTHDAY AH ZHAO! :D

Haha Ah Shing I know you wanted so much to go drinking and ton but we're tired and there's project meets tomorrow (Dx). Haha but let's go the next time we go on outings! ;D

Omg. I was watching the Barca vs R. Valladolid match as I'm typing this entry, and there's this R. Valladolid player who's like crazily awesome, his pace is superb man! He actually ran solo down the left flank in Barca's half and almost scored. Haha omg I think Barca's defense seriously suck leh. But Barca got the lead , this Barca player weaved past 2 defenders (superb ball control!) and shot on target but it bounced off the keeper, lucky this Barca player picked it up and knocked it into the net. Haha always keep your eyes on the ball, Michael Owen's dad always says. But Barca didn't stay in the lead for long cus R. Valladolid equalise pretty soon after. R.V is a pretty good team I'm kinda surprised by their quality. Haha but I'm not gonna continue with the 2nd half cus' my eyes are shutting down on me. Geez. Oh yeah the La Liga commentators SUCK leh really. It's either they have funny accents or they're so so so boring, like they speak intermittently, so you get like 5 seconds of silence and then talk, more silence, then when they nearly score they'll YELL suddenly. Lol what the buck? I prefer the funny accented commentators though, they're hilarious and they keep me awake. Lol.

Tomorrow's the ultimate match of all matches for Liverpool fans. Liverpool vs Manure Utd baby~ But usually there's this like major hype prior to all LFC vs MUFC matches, and when you do watch the match, it gets kinda boring. But it's okay, I know Gerrard, Torres, Mascherano and all the Liver lads are gonna spice things up tomorrow. You'll never walk alone! :)
