Woke up bright and early today. :D Forced myself to get up at around 8am, so as to slowly ease my body clock back to normal school-going time since the recess week's rocketed by. Sigh. Time always seems to run faster when you're having fun or doing nothing in particular. Haha I can bear testament to that all right.

Bolton 1-3 Liverpool. Hurray! \o/

Had predicted earlier in my Liverpool guild (in-game :D and yes you heard right, a Liverpool guild) 1-3(A) win to Liverpool. We have this little prediction league thingy in our guild, and at the end of the season whoever takes 1st, 2nd or 3rd position of the table wins prizes like in-game money and equips, scrolls and whatnot. Haha! I got 3 consecutive predictions correct (in footie we call it a hat-trick lol). Should dabble at soccer betting? Haha nah, shan't taint the beautiful game, eh? XP

Overall, I think we did pretty well considering that we were evenly matched most of the time. Bolton's pulled off quite a few scares on us, one of which Gerrard saved us from by clearing it away right on the line of goal. Phew! Our first goal came from Stevie (Bolton's GK own goal but it's Stevie's goal IMO :D) 10 mins into the 1st half. Ryan Babel squares (lobs) it to Stevie, he shoots, the GK stretched out and attempts to save, but it spins off his wrist, sending the ball rolling comfortably into the net. Snatched Stevie's credit! Lol! The 2nd goal came at the 59", when Kuyt nearly scores but it deflects off the goal post, Babel picks it up and scores, Liverpool up with a 2-0 lead!!! And he seals it with a back flip. Lol. Nice one Babel! And the final goal of the day from us came from a set piece! :DD Awesome volley into the top right corner of the net by Aurelio, contains it well by chesting it down, aims and shoots. And it's 3-0 to Liverpool!!!! Bolton resisted until the very end though, and Cohen finally scores a header, and it's Bolton 1, Liverpool 3. :D

Torres looked kinda sian last night though. Wondered why Rafa put Carra at right back though, I'd much prefer him at centre-back, at least our def'll look a lot more solid that way. Our def didn't look too convincing last night, Hyypia are you listening? Haha I keep getting this feeling that Hyypia's aspiring to be a striker these days.

Other than some minor mistakes here and there, and ignoring the fact that we lost possession quite a few times last night (though we somehow always manages to win it back before it becomes a threat), I'd say we're looking pretty good to make it to the top 4. Finger crossed!

Kudos to Bolton's presistence though, they exerted pressure on us throughout the entire game. I liked Gardner, especially! :D

Ah Shing's Breakthrough Concert Live 2008 :D

So, what have I been up to? Heh went down to NUS campus (Law fac) for Ah Shing's Breakthrough (A Temasek Hall Dance Production) 'concert' on the 29th Feb, omg which happens to be a leap year! Not that it impacted me in any way, really. Lol. Scheduled to meet at the Commonwealth train station @6.40pm. I seriously thought I'd be late! Somehow the train ride to Jurong East and beyond seems shorter and shorter. We went around Commonwealth (I NEVER knew there was a Commonwealth TRAIN STATION!) to look for nice flowers, eventually found a shop selling flowers (not a legitimate florist), but the rose petals looked and felt shrivelly dry. So Shimmy was assigned the flower girl, but she couldn't make it in time as she had to stay on at NTU for the release of results for a TKD competition (our little shimmy buttie got some nice bling, silver medal! Grats! :D). But no matter right Ah Shing? Cus' we're the most bloomalicious flowers you can ever have, AND we never go bad too. Haha!

We had no idea where the bus-stop (for 153) was so we decided to cab down instead. The Law Fac campus was might ulu! There were lotsa forested areas on both sides of the road. Dropped off somewhere and ~~walked~~ trekked to the venue. Before we know it, night has already crept up on us, and you never know where a certain Mas Selamat might be ~~limping~~ lurking. Haha talk about risking your life for your bosom buttie! XD The environment kinda reminded me of a certain part of Sentosa, the ulu part where the chalets are located. Eventually, we touched down at the auditorium safe and sound. :D

The audi wasn't as bad as Ah Shing had warned us initially! It's classy and really spacious. Too bad about the no-refreshments part though. Lol. I wonder who did the lighting that day cus' the lights didn't dim to signal the start of the performance, it simply went out. Hahaha and the audience went Woooo. U_U" We never really ever grow up, do we? Lol. We were busy playing Spot-A-Shing, haha now she's our official dancing diva. The music was awesome, the dance weaved seamlessly with the music. Haha your efforts have paid off buttie, we're really, really proud of you =,). You razzled, dazzled, and even made us go crazy when you did a 1-2 move with a, I quote "very hot guy!!!" (Zlink). Hahaha talk about burning the dance floor, it was getting preeetty hot. XD I loved the dance, the music, the lighting (the dark silhouettes of the dancers against the colored lighting while darkness engulfed the entire audi totally sets the mood!!) and the 2 funny emcees (Sian and I forgot what's the other guy's names) were mighty entertaining, not forgetting 'Britney Bitch'. Lol. Gotta teach us some moves next time!

Aunty Lum's 21st!

Celebrated my favorite 'aunty', Aunty Lum's 21st birthday on the 1st March! Haha I went there straight due to... unforseen circumstances (haha!). Had lotsa fun wading around in the pool, I wanna do the slide again, again! The company was great that night (saw some of my colleagues!! :D), played a lot, ate a little (amazingly or not so amazingly considering what I ate before going down :D), drank a little (out with the vodka, gimme me Long Islands or bring on the Bailey's!).

Aunty Lum's expression was super funny and cute when she 'excavated' the cake and found treasure inside it, hahaha hope she likes our present to her! It was super fun watching and watching people film the entire process. XD Not long after that, we hatched a plan to umm spsice things up a lil'. :D*. We planned a cream attack on her. Bobo secretly dug out portion of cream from the 'excavated' cake and we asked the unsuspecting victim to take a group shot with all of us. As soon as she posed for the cam, we went berserk, and swipe cream on Aunty Lum's face. Lol amidst the frenzy, I didn't manage to get a hand into things, ran to Aunty Lum and showed her the sticky gob of cream on my finger, she counter attacked, luckily Smelly has neat reflexes, did a sharp turn and a few stepovers (Lol. Nah kidding, no stepovers XD) to make my escape. Lo and behold! I dropped my gob of cream on the floor. Game over. T_T Have you ever seen a worse saboteur? Hahaha. The funniest part was HY's dad (he took our group pic when we ambushed HY) asked us "What happened?" when we 'attacked' the birthday girl. Lol!

Took some more peektures, had cakes (Bobo's mum's home-baked cake which tasted like Ji Dan Gao, mighty yum with the milo dusted cream! And yummy yummy choco cake with rum!). Then some of us decided to ambush her AGAIN. The previous time was a land attack, this time they wanted to do a 'sea' attack. So we (innocent bystanders) could only watch as they grabbed her and carried her to the pool. Lol!

Then the security guard came over and told us to shush up a little. XD HY carried the vodka, soda, coke, lychee drinks down for us so we can have a drink or two at the 'island'. Later moved base indoors to her house instead. The vodka smelt like nail varnish! Hahaha and it tasted really bad when you mix it with a little soda. Should've mixed it with the lychee drink instead. Lychee vodka on the rocks sounds nice to me. Haha! Choya tastes so much better than Swedish vodka IMO! :D Finally rounded things up and lucky us managed to catch the last bus home! Phew. The cab fare, shudders. XD Am glad HY had a blast as much as we did!
