Woolala~ Check this out! It's Stevie's 400th appearance for Liverpool, congrats Stevie you've come such a long way and all of us just wanna say THANK YOU CAPTAIN!
A few minnutes into the game and Voronin picked up a yellow after a foul on Fabregas (see Kaka's shadow in him). 6" Finnan did a nice feint and slotted the ball to Stevie and he shoots! But Almunia saved it. Haha I kinda like the sound of Almunia, sounds very metallic, always got the impression he's called aluminium.
7" Alonso got fouled and a goal kick's awarded to us. Stevie scores! Damn! A brilliant goal kick taken by super captain Stevie G!!! Don't you just love his lethal long-range shots!?!?!? It's really amazing how it flew past so many players and straight into the net (where it should be)!! =D 7 minutes into the game and it's so darned fast-paced already! Both sides are playing like it's the EPL finals man.
16" min Adebayor attempts to score, pepe runs out and blocks it with his chest wooo! I think Pepe makes wise decisions (fast) most of the time, and Pepe looks like a nice guy too! XD Everyone's really hyped up, atmosphere's electrifying! I so wanna watch a game live at the Kop!!! Then go have fish 'n' chips at the bar after that then go crazy at the shops buying all kindsa Anfield memorabilia!!!
20" min Gooners close in one of em' attempted to score, Reina runs out to save (scared the shit outta me!), ball got deflected and another Gooner attempted to score again! Thank goodness Hypia cleared it! Haha guess he's vindicated, stop calling him 'striker' already!
Gooners can reaaally run man, their pace and stamina's really awesome, see that's the advantage that comes with a youthful side. Secretly hope they over run =D Reina's lookin' pretty sharp for me today.
25" Gooners keep comin at our goal it's kinda intimidating, almost like they were the home side o_0! 27" Stevie's attempt at goal's on target and Alumnia makes a brilliant save! His entire body's extended outwards all the way, man that's a model save from Aluminium! Props to him. I'm really enjoying this match, every moment's action-packed, pace's exhilarating!!! 30" Reina punched ball away. Eboue's down, Jamie Carragher seemed to elbow him on replay (ball not in play in their area) I'll need a 2nd replay to see if it's on purpose.
Flamini just got a close-up and he got lotsa chest hair o_0! Lol very AA, very distracting. XD Adebayor's over reacting after a mid-air tackle with Hypia, that kinda aerial tackle's so darned common and he's acting like he just got hit by a train or somethin'! I'll bet you he's merely got a stitch!
Seriously, I really respect all players cus' running up and down the pitch for a full 90 minutes at that pace's really no mean feat. "English sides are really physical", no kidding! Which is why I think Benayoun should eat a lil' more and toughen up a little. 43" Ooh the ball went through Alonso's legs and Reina kept the ball. Lol kinda hilarious, like they're playing some kinda kiddy game.
3 mins added time announced. Torres looks like he's thigh injury has relapsed. =( Rafa risked it this time round not gonna help him on this, I don't know why he chose to play Torres after his thigh injury from a previous match, and he's a little non-existent in this match, should've rested him. =(( Get well soon Torres!
Gooners are going all out minutes before half-time. Woo~ Mr Tek Go's (a.k.a Crouch)'s comin' on! Think he's coming on for Torres.
-------------Half-time, gonna raid the fridge and toilet break! :D------------
I get jittery these days after half-time cus' there's this recent trend where we perform superbly in the first half and screw up in the 2nd, so fingers crossed! Alonso's chit-chatting with Fabregas, I wanna hear them speak Spanish! Rosicky picked up a yellow at 50" min. Crouch nearly scored at 51"! Gooner shoots and ball's deflected off the post, picked up by Fabregas, he shoots! And missed! Yellow for Mascherano, I thought it was a rightful tackle. Oh well, ref's decision is FINAL. This is one helluvac match both sides stretch reaaally wide at times. Clichy bulldozed carragher at 60" !!! RAWR! Ooh crouch attempted to score again! Looks promising. :D
o_0! Just spotted Haribo as one of the sponsors at the corner of the TV screen!?!?! Haribo's the company behind the gummy candy that's pretty popular back in my secondary school days. Haha kinda weird to see them on the sponsorship boards. XD Crouch shoots again but it's a tad too wide! Awesome run down the flanks! Awesome interplay though!
Toure's acting the fool when he fouled Kuyt! He deserved the yellow! =D Skinny Benayoun come on for Beefy Voronin damn funny. Lol! Hahaha commentator said we looked a bit jaded, we really are man, with the Gooners making us run for the ball, it's hard not to.
Babyface Walcott come on for Rosicky (Gooners substitution). Arbeloa came on for Alonso. Torres and Alonso are both out due to injuries. =( Rafa rafa~ Both sides went all out today, it's really awesome to watch man. Is rafa gettin fatter?!?! o_0!
20 mins to go can we make it? Wah the Gooners did a bermuda triangle formation around crouch as he runs towards goal. Gilberto on for clichy(botak). E-BOO-e off for Bendter. Both of them left the pitch with a very warm 'BOO' treatment from us Livers. :D Both sides used up the 3 subs already. 74" Riise shoots but bounces off top net!!! Wasted! It'd be a brilliant goal if it went in! 76" Gooners keep pushing towards our penalty box. Carragher looks tired man, seriously tired.
80" Fabregas equalised! -_-" =,(((((( Mascherano's limping badly but subs are all used up. 3rd player to pick up an injury tonight! =( Fabregas shoots again but it deflected off the post! Lucky us! 4 mins left. Carragher's picked up a yellow. 3mins added time. Full time!
This is seriously awesome football! Enjoyed every minute of it! Both sides could've easily gotten the 3 points, but yeah that was really entertaining football. I want more!!! XD
p.s. 13 more days to Jam's freedom! :)))

And so the countdown begins. 19 days to 11/11/2007. 1111's marked on my calender and notebook. Hsiao Jing Teng's gonna regain his freedom on the 11th November. :D He's gonna be freed from the Chao Ji Xing Guang Da Dao contract (which tied him down for 6 months)~! So during this period, he's gotta lie low, to get ready for preparations on his upcoming album, and he also went back to school. Really can't wait for his reappearance come 11th Nov! Can't wait for his album (I actually set aside money for his debut album already, a novelty for me!) Lol. I'm striking off numbers on my calender as days fly happily by. Woohoo~ :D One of my buds' birthday falls on the 11th Nov too!
Here. Sharing a couple of photos of him with you guys. Lol. I know, I'm such a chum ,eh? ;D
This photo should land him a multi-million dollar deal with a major company selling spectacles and the likes man!
Jam and his keyboard = Samurai and his katana. Paired together and he's invincible. ;D
Got a missed call from Bobo this morning. Buzzed me to ask if I wanna go support the Lions at the National Stadium in their World Cup Qualifier campaign (match 2). It's gonna be memorable since it'll be the one last time I'll be stepping into Old Kallang Stadium, it's gonna make way for a new Sports Hub that's gonna be up by 2011 (estimated).
I'll miss the old girl. The badly littered stadium after every match a.k.a. post-match 'debris' (actually saw a potato chip on the floor which looked like it got 'fossilized' or something), the red and white Lions poster, the floaters, the Kallang Wave, the floodlights, the scoreboard that's so prone to malfunctioning (they actually spelt the title of the tornament once! XD), the very enthu Malay uncle who really got the mood goin', seeing Sheik Haikel, the $2 Lions headband, getting the free Lions shirt, cheering on the Lions, yelling and hollering at them when they screwed up (Lol. We aren't called one of the world's most unforgiving fans for nothin' y'know), having our butts grilled by the sunbaked wooden planked seating, holding our breaths when we stepped into the toilet during half-time, taking away drinks at the nearby kopitiam before walking to the stadium, singing Ole ole ole~ on the way to the train station when we won, cursing "But*h" and "referee kayu" when we didn't....and so much more. I'm gonna take all these memories with me when I leave the ole' girl for the last time come 28th Oct. But this time Roo and Yu's not going cus' they gotta settle a school project. :( Don't worry fellas, we'll cheer doubly hard. ROAAARRR! Haha :P
Lookin' forward to this Sunday, will meet up with good ole bud Ah Shing before going for the match! Double hurrah! :DD

Jam isn't just an idol. To me, he's more of an inspiration. His achievements thus far have been grounded firmly by honest hard work, driven by pure passion, and with a lot of heart. He set his goal at 15, since then, he'd been putting everything he's got into achieving his dream. How many of us actually put our heart and soul into realising our dreams like our whole life depended on it? Very often, people get caught up in a never-ending rat race (called reality) so much so that we forgot why and what we're working so hard for, and dreams slowly fade away and we gradually lose sight of it, turning into a remnant of the past, of childhood. A 15 year old who had a dream pushing on forward, giving all he's got, and to remain faithful to that very dream all these years, that's Jam for you. A truly special musician. A truly special person.
Just wanna share with you guys, a story, Jam's story. Sources and credits left untouched, do go and check these websites out. :)
Is it the weather in Russia? Is it McClaren? Is it underestimation of Russia's ability?
*sighs* It'd be really nice for Mikey's return if England made it to Euro 2008.

Back from K-Box! Good (surprising) news! I was actually 1 MINUTE early. *big grin* =D Lol. Now that's quite a feat. Keep it up! Haha!
We all thought there was the $5 offer thingy from 2-7pm but they told us the receptionist got it wrong and it's until 5.00pm (should actually end at 4.30pm but the guy extended 30 minutes more, so 'generous'!) haha but since we already got there we just K-ed all the same. Picked out songs like in a flash, to make full use of the very short 3 hours. Got to see Xiao Jing Teng on television with A-mei! Really shuai!!! Haha yup so we picked out songs that we rarely sing, haha very fun and funny. XD And I realised I have the rocker blood in me all this while. RAAHHHH! Hahaha!
Managed to smuggle in Hooch...tasted like orange juice. Lol. The music made us high anyways, not Hooch. Hoochimama~ Lol just felt like saying it.
Do not attempt to have dinner at AMK Hub on a Sunday, everywhere's like packed so we went to the S-11 just opposite the train station. The Japanese Curry Chicken Katsu set is very yummylicious!!! For $6, you have agedashi tofu and miso soup included. This Japanese stall is near this shop that sells kitchen stuff like cutlery, pots and pans.
Oh happy day~ RaaAahhhhh! XP

Anyone woke up to the fragrance of rendang, tempeh, curry cookin'? I sure did. =D
Selamat Hari Raya fellas!
Good news! Michael Owen may be playing in tonight's England vs Estonia match (9.50pm)!!! Haha he'd most prolly come out as a sub but I'm happyyyy! =D*
England 3 (Wright-Phillips, Rooney, Rahn (OG) -0 Estonia (FT)
Ooh la la~ Now, that sure is a comfy scoreline, so now we tie with Croatia with 23 points in Group A.
I LIKE WRIGHT-PHILLIPS! Haha don't get me wrong! Mikey's still my number 1! So happy he got into 1st team, he really recovered super fast, must have been listening to the doctor's advice. Okay back to Wright-Phillips, he's really brilliant man, serviced so many attempts at goal.
That own goal by Rahn was kinda unfortunate, he wanted to clear it away and ended up giving trouble to Poom (Estonian GK, cutesy name! Like one of those characters in Japanese games).
This game passed reaaally fast for me, haha enjoyed it. Estonia's ball control and passing's kinda bad man, seriously...I think 3-0's very kind already. Gerrard could've scored in late second half. Kinda surprised that McClaren played Barry instead of Lampard, I guess he's giving Barry a run-down since Estonia's a low-risk team for England. Haha anyways, Euro 2008's starting to look really good for us, kinda early but yeah I'm certain we're going to Euro people (with Mikey in it!)!!!
-_-" My mum's bugging me with "no money buy sushi!", "no money buy topping!"...no, she's not making sushi, she's just playing this game called "Sushi-Go-Round" where there's a sales target in every round and you gotta make sushi that customers order, gotta be fast or these customers'll flash you a nasty look and leave the restaurant, and she's like cursing and scolding these virtual customers in cantonese la! -_-"" If you wanna check this game out, head on to miniclips.com =D Lol it's freaking funny to watch your mum play computer games.

Liverpool (Voronin 12", Torres 91") 2-2 Totties (Keane 45", 47") This match was really awesome for us in the 1st half of the match, and the atmosphere was pretty good. I thought we'd gonna win for sure. The totties just didn't seem like a 1st division side for me in the 1st half you know, their defense was virtually non-existent and their passing was embarrassing, I forgot how many times they lost the ball to us. 12 minutes into the game and Voronin (yea Mr Meatloaf!!!) scored the lead for us, thanks to a lovely free kick deflected off Paul Robinson and into Voronin. He stood at the right place at the right time. =D It was a good start, and it kept Spurs running all over the place as we kept pushing ahead, lotsa attempts for goal.
I liked how there was one part where Totties tried to score, and Reina didn't manage to clear it away, LUCKILY Carragher strolled the ball off Liver's penalty box, just inches away from the goal post!!! Big phew there. Gerrard almost scored one himself, but it bounced off the goal post instead, the accuracy needed to hit the post's prolly a whole lot more than it finding its way into the net. Should it have been his goal, it'd be really neat. =D
Then there came this part of the match, where Gerrard selflessly set up Voronin for goal, but this nitwit of a Meatloaf chose to "selflessly" passed the ball on to let someone else take the glory of scoring instead, the thing is...he looked stupid. He should've went for goal immediately before the Totties could fall into full defense mode. Uuuurghhh! So yeah it should well've been a 2-0 for us and Mr Meatloaf chose to blow it. But it's okay since we looked like we're still having everything in place in our ball court. Was hoping for more goals from the Liver lads.
Just when we were going into half-time, there was this very brief disruption (for a few milliseconds) and during which Keane scored -_-" What are the odds man, seriously? For the opponent to score a goal just when there's a brief satellite disruption.
For me, the Totties players that really stood out for me were Jenas, Berbatov and Keane. The big 3 were a serious threat, Keane worked really well as a striker I really don't know what he is doing in Tottie.
There was this announcement at the background, it went "This is operation Anfield exercies, I repeat this is operation Anfield exercise..." and it went on for several times during the game. Operation Anfield exercise is sorta like a safety drill in times of emergency, and the stewards are supposed fall into position in an emergency situation. I cracked up man when they did the announcement, cus' I'd picture the players on the pitch to stop in their tracks and start doing jumping jacks or something. Lol! The away fans would start doing star-jumps and all kindsa exercises you can possibly think of in the stands whenever there's this operation anfield exercise...hahaha. I gotta give it to them for their creativity man.
------HALF TIME-----
Bloody ^^&#%*#^#(*&U. Keane broke the dead lock just 2 minutes into the second half. It was like a totally different Spurs was playing against us...I don't know what Martin Jol told his men in the locker room (a pay rise for every goal scored!?!) but it worked cus' this time, Spurs passed well, their defense was taking shape and they kept pounding away at our goal. Keane's goal was really awesome though, at that reaaally narrow angle, it was a sheer striker's masterpiece. Damn and we're one goal down. Can you simply imagine the roller coaster ride I've been through!?! It became such an animated (trust me, it wasn't only on the pitch, I was getting kinda animated too at this point of the game) and high-strung match. The totties were definitely picking up the pace man.
For the xxxth time Totties barged into the Liverpool defense and attempted to score, my eyes were following the ball that was dangerously near goal, when Reina run out of his keeper's position and actually TACKLED the striker! COOL!!! I mean sure it was risky, but nonetheless a good decision (only if he made it work)...damn Barthez looked like a clown when he did it. Lol.
30 minutes into 2nd half and I lost count of the number of times I went "Mascherano sucks". Mascherano looked a lil' Dr Jekyll in the League of the Extraordinary Gentlemen. Liverpool got some celebrity lookalikes cus' Bing thinks Finnan look like Matt Damon. Lol! Back to Mascherano, I don't know but he's just not working for me man. He should've chipped the ball when the goalie's lying on the floor about a yard away from him. And he gives the ball away a lil' too easily, I don't know I just don't really favor him. o_0!
To say that it's a nail-biting second half is a major understatement...I bet all of us were waiting, waiting, waiting. Waiting for that miracle goal that's gonna give us at least one precious point, considering how tight we're in the league table. THEN came the brilliant header from torres at 91" minute!!!!!!! GOAAAAAL!!!! BIG phew...hahhaa!
I wouldn't say our performance against the Totties was good but it was definitely better than we were against Marseilles. We really should've scored a couple more goals. But yeah 1 point's better than none. Still keeping our hopes up, the fans at the Liverpoolfc.tv forum are beginning to get really disheartened at Rafa. =,( I kinda like him y'know, he looks really amiable and nice...I thought he really had the guts to execute the rotation policy. Theoretically it works, by rotating players it ensures each and every player's got even chances of playing, maintaining their playing ability and experience, but it doesn't seem to be working in favor of us really. Really hope Rafa's gonna prove his policy right in time to come, or he's gonna join Moaninho...I'd be really sad if he goes though =,(
I've been listening to Xiao Jing Teng's songs every night. His album's gonna be out by the end of the year, I can't wait!!! Haha...yeap here's a lil' something for you guys:
I think somebody's just succeeded in dethroning Jay's position in my heart (musically)! And he is...JAM XIAO JING TENG! Lol. I hate sounding like a crazy fan but I can't help it, not after listening a voice like that. Words just cannot express how superb, fantabulous, astounding, amazing, magnificent, grand, AWESOME it is when he sings. The people from Chao Ji Xing Guang Da Dao gave him a nickname called "Black Spider" cus' of his penchant for wearing black tops during the show, but he really should be given the nickname "Black Hole" instead...every single time he sings, I get sucked into this musical utopia he created. *swoons*
On the surface, he might not be much to look at, he's kinda scrawny and he's really pale but somehow his shy disposition and that goofy smile whenever he's tickled by hosts on variety shows totally lights up the room he's in. He doesn't talk a lot, he can't express himself really well, but his response (that is if you can hammer a response outta him) is always frank, to the point. It's refreshing, especially in this day and age where celebs are always nicely packaged (usually over packaged)...Xiao Jing Teng's a totally different ball game. He breathes new life into evergreen songs like "新不了情"...he recreates them and make them his very own. And I like that about him. He's funnily cute in his own natural way, like how he covers his goofy smile with his microphone, how he stares into space at times, how he looks to his manager when he's clueless about the situation...and what I love most about him is how he sings with such passion like nothing else mattered around him on or off stage. I am moved.
I AM A FAN! \[^o^]/
Even for a pirate like me, I'd wanna pay money to buy his album. Darn I'd even pay money for him to cut an album. Please please please cut an album soon. If he becomes the spokesperson of the anti-piracy campaign I might just kick the habit of downloading stuff... XD
I first heard about his name on Yu Le Bai Fen Bai, when they did the full coverage of A-mei's concert...where they sang the duet "一眼瞬間" I was blown away, literally...it made me fall backwards and go PHWOAR! Haha a lil' exaggerated but yeap it's pretty close. So after that I went online to search for his videos through YouTube and crunchyroll (the preferred choice for lazy people) just to listen to his music again. Here's some of my favorites :
A Bonus!
Wanna see more of him? Follow these links fellas~ Just click on the green text and you're on your way to music utopia~ XD
Watch him PK his way through...For me he wins hands down. Always. =D
I stayed up all night into the wee hours just to watch us humiliate ourselves for 94 minutes only to go to bed with a heaaavy heart man it sucks when this kinda thing happens. It's really hard especially when it's the team you've spent most of your life supporting and believing in. The only nail-biting moments, when the real action begins for me begins at the 91" minute when Nando's goal got deflected and off some other players, and got deflected twice off the goal post, like that kinda old school pinball game. Deflections at the penalty box's always agonizing, especially when it's against your favor.
We did really badly. I think we screwed up big time, even the Liverpool fans left the stands a minute or 2 before the final whistle. For EPL's most hardcore fans to actually leave the stands before the final whistle, that tells you a lot about our performance this morning. It's kinda odd for me to see Cisse and Zenden donning the blue and pastel blue stripes of Marseille. Cisse especially, since he didn't really leave Anfield on a good note, now that we lost the game it kinda leaves a bad feeling. Can't really explain it. Hmmm...
Valbuena's goal was superb though, it's one of those goals which'd still find its way into the net even if you have 11 Pepe Reinas in front of it. The angle's impeccable man. The way the Martians stretched our defense WIDE OPEN in front of the penalty box's unbelievable. Never leave a wide angle in front of the penalty box. Frankly we played like the Liverpool of last season, it was disheartening, the hamsters aqueaking and fighting over the wheel at the background kinda made it worse. T_T"
We lost heart this morning even Stevie looked mediocre. I didn't expect much out of the first half, since most of the action (for Liverpool) usually comes in the second half. Once Valbuena's goal came in, I kinda lost hope, but I stuck through the end just hoping for an equaliser. I'd even trade a PS3 for an equaliser man. But it never came. =,(
This has gotta be our worst performance (not to mention this is our first loss this season) so far, I really hope this match's our worst game this season and the rest'll only get better. We had a good start and I guess all of us thought we could bank on it. Pray hard this doesn't dampen the team's morale and confidence, remembered how the Liverpool squad (when Owen's kinda went downhill) lost heart and confidence on the pitch it actually showed through their game play. Fans feel for them y'know?
Damn I wanna fly to Anfield and shake them all up by the shoulders. C'mon Liver lads, we're all right behind you...You'll never walk alone~~~
Keep believing Liver fans...=,)

I think I've lost the self-discipline I had during my secondary school days (damn I'm getting old). When I say self-discipline I mean the discipline I had academically and physically. Haha and yes Smelly's gonna get it back! Eh...I'll try my utmost best to get it back. No pressure at all. Lol.
Everyone prolly knows I'm a big eater, I think ever since I did the upsized Big Mac thingy and clearing off dishes or helping to polish off leftovers with friends and even family (I think my image has gone down the drain!). So yeah, everyone seem to think my slogan ought to be "Gone in 60 seconds". T_T" The thing is I did lotsa exercise back then on a regular basis since I was in npcc, so while I ate a lot, I sweat a lot too. I firmly believe in input=output! Hence, I'm NOT a glutton! Haha have I driven my point home? Hmmm...okay so I've came up with my own exercise regime, shall do 1000 times of jump rope, sit-ups, push-ups, jumping jacks (2 sets of 30 each). Just completed my first regime today! Got my heart pumping, and yeap sweat's always good. I'll go jogging at least once a week too, haha and if any of you out there wanna have a go at badminton, jio me along! Badminton's not like jogging! Jogging's kinda boring, no? Haha yeap. Healthy lifestyle! =D
I'm gonna finish up on my assignment tomorrow. Shall spend more time on revision starting tomorrow. Gotta study extra hard since I skipped quite a few (not) lessons! Dammit I'm kinda sick of getting through the semester without putting in serious effort y'know? Feels like I'm not working for it while everyone else's going at it with so much hard work and heart and it really sucks now that I reflect over it. I don't plan on wasting my uni life like this, it's a once-in-a-lifetime kinda thing, right? My friends back in uni wonders how I get ok grades when I miss so many lessons, damn it felt kinda good but now that I think of it, I'm really ashamed of myself. I'm gonna put a stop to all this. Somehow, somewhere this has gotta stop. It won't be easy but yeah I'll fight it! Smelly style...grrrrr! Haha so I sound resolved? This post's more like a message to myself I guess. So you guys can stop reading, it's more of a conversation between me and the inner me. Does this even make sense? Hahaha so yeah people, whenever you see me please hit me on the head and scream "Wake up your idea!!!!!". Eh you guys can leave the hit the head part I guess lol.
About 1~2 mths to the exams, I'm gonna work for it this time! OoooOooosh! Haha wonder why I'm so hyped up all of a sudden? I guess it's cus' of the recess week, you know how after a break, you get the feeling like after that break it'll be a fresh, new start for you? And somehow I always get the feeling that it's so much easier to start out on a brand, new slate. Yeap that's pretty much it. =D
On a lighter note, my aunt brought back some food stuff from Hainan Island...I mean Hai Nan Dao. Sounds a bit weird to call it Hai Nan Island, no? Haha it was a huge bag of coconut products, coconut slices, coconut and malt milk tea, coconut milk candy and all kindsa stuff you can imagine. And our conversation followed...
Me: "How come all coconut one?!"
Mum: "Cus' Hai Nan Dao famous for their coconut trees mah."
Me: @_@ "I thought their famous te chan (produce) is the Hai nan ji fan (Hainanese chicken rice)!?!"
Mum and sis: ". . ." u_U"
Not meh!?! Hainanese chicken rice is not from Hai Nan Dao!?!?! Damn I need to look into makan sutra to verify my doubts already!
I'm watching Honey and Clover (an anime series) in between studying. =D It sure is inspiring, thanks Yu for the recommendation! Gonna booze soon! XP Sugar rush~~
